The 5-part EFNOTE 5X sets new standards with its excellent sound, multi-trigger technology and acoustic drum design.
Elaborately produced multilayer samples ensure the outstandingly lifelike sound. Each of the 98 factory sounds consists of a large number of individual samples, which means that exceptionally high dynamics and a natural sound behavior are achieved.
The compact sound module has a stable metal housing and is operated via a touch screen LC display. With its clearly structured menu, even inexperienced users can quickly access all functions and settings.
All sounds can be edited according to your own ideas using functions such as tuning, dampening (muffling) and tone control (EQ) and stored in the user memory. A total of 128 memory slots are available for this. You also have a virtual mixing desk, which can be used to adjust the volume of the sounds individually and route them to the outputs as desired.
The integrated metronome and rhythm box are ideal for practicing. In addition, songs and play-alongs can be streamed into the module via Bluetooth. The EFNOTE 5 module is also equipped with a USB audio interface, via which 8 tracks can be digitally transmitted to the computer. In addition, up to four 4 analog outputs can be used. The EFNOTE 5X is equally suitable for live and studio use as well as for teaching purposes.
The bass drum, snare and toms are made of high-quality, 6-ply birch shells and covered with double-layer mesh heads. In order to ensure a uniquely high sensitivity and extremely precise response, all toms and the snare have a total of 3 trigger sensors. In addition, the snare has a third playing surface. This allows for 100% accurate separation between cross stick and rim shot. Erroneous triggering of the trigger is therefore absolutely impossible. The 16" bass drum is equipped with 2 triggers and thus ensures a constant response, regardless of whether a single or double pedal is used.
All cymbal pads, including the hi-hat, can be played 360° from all sides and can be stopped using a choke sensor. Thus, a device that prevents the cymbals from twisting is no longer necessary. The crash and ride cymbals are generally triple zone pads that can be played on the edge, the surface and the bell.
The hi-hat has an extraordinarily fine sampling rate and extremely precise playing behavior thanks to the optical multi-trigger sensors. As a result, even complex game characters can be implemented at high speeds without any problems.
Last but not least, the large dynamic range as well as the consistent and stable sampling with an absolutely low latency time is implemented by the newly developed ELISE sensor processor.
